The Fronius Smart Meter is a bidirectional, intelligent meter that records the load profile and optimizes local energy use. High measurement accuracy and Modbus RTU communication ensure smooth adjustment of the inverter output power to the programmed values. Together with Fronius Solar.web, the Fronius Smart Meter also enables a transparent and visualization of local energy consumption. An end-to-end solution with energy storage - the Fronius Energy Package - uses the communication between the Fronius Symo Hybrid and the Fronius Smart Meter to coordinate and optimize the energy flow between the PV system, battery bank and consumers. The Fronius Smart Meter is suitable for the Fronius Symo, Symo Hybrid, Galvo, Primo and Eco inverters with the Fronius Datamanager 2.0.
