Fronius is launching the Tauro three-phase commercial inverter. The inverter is available in two system versions. On the one hand, there is the Direct variant, in which the Tauro can be placed decentrally directly on a given modular field. This system design is characterized by short DC and longer AC cable lengths. If the Tauro unit is installed centrally in close proximity to the main AC switchgear, a pre-connected variant should be used. The central installation system is characterized by a longer DC switchgear line. Both variants are ideal for rooftop and ground installations. They are available in 50 or 100 kW versions. Tauro can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. In addition, maximum efficiency can be achieved even in bright sunlight, thanks to cooling technology and a double-walled front cover.

For the first 2 years, the inverter is covered by the standard Fronius Plus Warranty. This warranty can be extended for another 7 years free of charge if the warranty holder registers the product online on the Fronius website. All inverters manufactured after 1.10.2018 are covered by the warranty, the period of which starts from the inverter installation date specified in the registration process. It is possible to extend the warranty for a period of 10, 15 or 20 years for a fee. Warranty extensions can be made on the Fronius website. Warranty extensions can only be ordered within the period and in the manner indicated in Table 1. The warranty extension begins at the end of the original warranty period and extends for the period indicated in Table 1 and ordered by the warranty holder. FRONIUS offers various warranty extension options for covered products (paid and unpaid), which are detailed in Table 1
